Quite unlike the adjacent Phuket province, Krabi has much quieter nightlife with pubs and restaurants to relax. Visitors to Krabi are kept active throughout the day with the high-energy activities that they welcome the relaxed evenings. Most of them chill out with family and friends and are found busily planning for the next day’s adventures.
Ao Nang has a few bars, where visitors can relax with drinks and music - some of them live. There are a few dancing bars as well. Railay Beach offer excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere, perfect after a day’s sightseeing and activities. Coco’s Restaurant at East Railay is a must-visit for food-aficionados. This forest restaurant has great food and even greater atmosphere. The restaurant at Railay Village on West Railay Beach serves mouth-watering Thai and Western cuisines at affordable prices. Here you have the added advantage of tasting one of the yummiest ice creams.
At Railay, the nights are made livelier by the beach parties organized in turns by the resorts. Both at Railay Bay and Tonsai Village, tourists spend the entire night at the beach dancing and drinking. East Railay’s new bar, Viewpoint Bar has excellent parties in their vast open balconies. They put on shows for the benefit of their guests. Special performances with big pins and broken glass and fire-spinners are the biggest draw here. Accompanied by mood-elevating music, the bar is the favorite haunt of tourists to spend the night. Ya Ya’s Bar in East Railay is the place for live music band during peak season.

Ao Nang
The Last Fisherman: Located at the far end of Ao Nang Beach, beyond Golden Beach Resort. It is a classy beach bar with tables arranged on sand and a good selection of cocktails.
Luna Bar: Located at Nopparat Thara Beach, past the bridge from Ao Nang. It has lively atmosphere with DJs and pool tables. Crowded after midnight.
The Irish Rover: Located opposite to the police station, off the main beach road. It is a cozy pub, serving draught Guinness and imported beers. Go there to read English newspapers or to watch sport.
Railay Beach
Gecko Bar: Located on East beach. This is a reggae-style bamboo shack, frequented by Thai boys with dreadlocks and late night revelers.
Freedom Bar: Located on Ton Sai Beach. It is famous for regular all-night beach parties, mostly during Full Moon.
Bobo’s: Located on Railay West Beach. It is a quiet beach bar with candlelit tables, placed in sand. It offers excellent sunset view.
Krabi Town
Crazy Pub: Located on Maharat Road, opposite Shell Station. It is a pub with live music by funky house band and good DJs. The crowd is mostly Thai with a sprinkling of tourists.
Pan Cha: Located on Maharat road Soi 12. It is an outdoor coffee shop, with a relaxed atmosphere. There is a giant screen to watch football here. Food is also served.
